Also, we are using gdbm as the storage format for files in /etc/
courier- rebuilding them resolved the problem that I posted about
previously. Is there a similar way to rebuild whatever additional
files might be necessary specifically for mlm?

Since we just saw a similar error recently, I'm going to guess that
when
you upgraded, you started using a different DBM library, or a
different
and incompatible version of the DBM library.
I recommend using gdbm, as its file format doesn't change
frequently, as
BDB does.
Once you settle on a dbm library and rebuild on CentOS 5 (if you
decide
to rebuild), then you may need to "export" the subscriber
information on
the old system, and "import" it on the new one.
It's probably worth pointing out to all users of couriermlm that the
manual recommends (twice!) that you export the list subscribers on a
regular basis.
I've done everything I know to do to get these lists moved properly,
but I'm completely new to couriermlm so I may be overlooking
something
simple. I've already created an strace while running the command- it
looks like something nasty is happening around line 1816, but I'm not
learned enough to know how to interpret it exactly.
Line numbers don't mean much... they'll vary from system to system
based
on your configuration. We'd need to see the output to make any
sense of it.
