I know, but the only substantial issue IMO is that the sender can't be 
notified of the exact status of his message.  Specifically in the case 
of spam filtering, I don't think that's much of a concern.  I'd just 
issue a 5xx code in the case that some senders rejected the message so 
as to not be silent in case the message was legit.  The sender can 
follow up on his own.  That's considerably more information than it's 
reasonably possible to give the sender when scanning is done by the MDA.
