Yeah, but many of them won't. Partly because some of them are lazy. Partly because (in conjunction with other anti-spam measures) they'd be burning through domains even more often than they already do, and that does cost something (albeit, on a spammer's budget probably not enough to be truly prohibitive). Also, for botnet-generated spam (which is a lot of it these days, or so I've heard) they would then, unless I'm missing something, be publishing a more or less complete lists of all the zombie hosts in their network, which I think would not exactly hinder efforts to shut them down. I am not in any way suggesting that this check will by itself solve the entire spam problem completely. Haha.
