Hi,
Our setup for shared folders worked fine until we moved the users'
maildirs and the sharable folders to distinct NFS volumes (before that they
were on a local partition).
The problem is that the soft links for the messages are not created.
Note that famd running on the host mounting the nfs volulmes is connecting
fine to the famd on the nfs server.
Here are more informations about out setup:
/home is an NFS mount
-sharable folder:
/home/Groups/Mail
-shared folder:
/home/Groups/Mail/certs/
User john has mails stored in /home/john/mail/Maildir which is a softlink:
/home/john/mail/Maildir -> /mnt/pmail/home/john/Maildir
/mnt/pmail is also an NFS mount.
# cat /home/john/mail/Maildir/shared-maildirs:
CertsAdmin /home/Groups/Mail/certs
When subscribing to the shared folder, the directories are created
correctly:
ls /home/john/mail/Maildir/shared-folders/CertsAdmin/
CertsReceived CertsSended
However, the softlinks for each message are not, and the user only sees an
empty shared folder.
Does anyone have any hint on what might be the problem?
Thanks
Raph
