One of the reasons we chose "centre of innovation" as a sub title to
Indoor Playground was to highlight the social centre aspect. We have
built the place to be multi-configurable, the desks can be folded down,
hanging walls can be unhooked etc. We are imagining launch parties,
educational evenings (where various people can share their experience
and advice), presentation groups and gatherings. In many ways we hope
it to become a known gathering place for those in the 2.0 community in
Toronto.
Some of the topics I have been thinking of for educational evenings
are:
- How to start a company
- How to build a team
- How to think like an innovator
I am sure that the rest of those who are getting involved will have
topics they want to pass on to the community also
It would be fantastic if there was an evening every week that people
could expect something great that was open house
