Joe,

Tonight (Monday the 18th) in downtown Orlando there is a Florida
Creatives Happy Hour - sadly, this moth's Likemind has passed, but
this weekend there is a BarCamp in Miami if you're interested in
making the trip down.

Florida Creatives is a networking group with lots of attendance by
local geeks. You'll want to check out the website for info and head
to the Crooked Bayou, 50 E Central Blvd, Orlando - we'll be there
from 6-9PM, and we're there every 3rd Monday of the month without fail.

Here are some links for you:

BarCamp Orlando is coming up in the first week of April, also in
downtown. Because Orlando is so suburban, expect Coworking to happen
in a central location most times, but I know some folks are out in
the UCF/Waterford area.

This page also has a pretty recent list of known hotspots in town.
It's editable, so if you come across any, please add them. We
consider chain stores to be easy to find - Panera Bread, Moe's
Burritos, Denny's - so they're not listed, but there are a few near
Oviedo.

It would be great if Orlando could sustain several spaces, but we
don't have a dense enough concentration in any one area to make the
first one happen - we're doing lots with meetups, lunches and Jelly-
style events - coworking in someone's living room - for now.

Hope to see you around soon.

Peace,
Ryan Price
