Hey Everyone! I joined this coworking group a couple of weeks ago and thought I would get more involved. My name is Rich Schiavo and I live in Woolwich Township , NJ (small up and coming town just south of Philly - Hey Alex!). I have had the idea for starting a coworking space for while now but, didn't realize it until recently. I have started looking at potential spaces and have some questions. Tons of questions actually! I will start with a few now and follow up with more as things develop. I plan to chronicle my experiences and offer ideas and information going forward.
In looking at potential locations, I find myself weighing the options between residential, office and retail. I would appreciate any feedback from those that have established their space and discuss the thought process in making the decisions they made and anything you may have learned and/or done differently (regrets). Other great info might be: 1. total square footage 2. $/sqft 3. # of private offices in relation to open desk space 4. location (e.g. retail, residential, office) 5. any other considerations that I am sure I am overlooking Thanks for taking the time and I look forward to being a part of the group!
