At CubeSpace, we provide free meeting space for non-commercial user- groups. We have 5 rooms large enough for user groups, and we are getting close to reaching capacity. The parameters on user group usage is that paying customers get priority so they are not guaranteed a specific room, we ask for donations to cover snacks and beverages and we ask them to help spread the word about CubeSpace by word of mouth. Donating space to user groups is our second most-effective marketing tool after Twitter, so it is a worthwhile investment for us.
Meetups, nonprofit board meetings and other community groups we put in a different category, and we give them nonprofit rates for meeting space. On occasion, we will also accept trades for giving these groups space, but that is on a case by case basis. -Eva CubeSpace On Feb 11, 7:53 pm, Tampa Startup <[email protected]> wrote: > It sounds like many of the established coworking facilities have had > interest from user groups. we intend to host Meetups and other events > as a promotional exercise, but does anyone have any comments on > renting space for groups. > > Rates? > > Restrictions? > > etc.? > > Thanks, > > - Ken > > Find IdeaField on Facebook & Twitter --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
