I was just talking to Alex and shared the fact that when the new year
rolled around, several new people just showed up on our doorstep
wanting to join Caroline Collective. As a result, our newly renovated
coworking room was full in about two weeks. Alex remarked that Indy
Hall experienced a similar situation in 2009 and his thoughts were
that it might be one of those new year's resolutions of "this year I'm
going to interact with real people." Being in Houston, our thoughts
are that people were done with 2008 through the combination of a
hurricane, the election and the economic downturn.

Did anyone else experience an influx of people or members when the new
year rolled around?
