To follow the guidelines of the group, here is my introduction. Hi! My name is Steven Chau. I am a software developer based in the Kansas City, Missouri area. As a member of Startup Kansas City, I am helping to promote the startup culture in Kansas City by hosting events such as BarCamp, Pre-Dev Camp and Startup Weekend. One of my interest is establishing a co-working environment in KC. Kansas City is currently home to three incubator spaces, which two have recently opened in the past month.
The organization, Startup Kansas City, did receive space from the Entrepreneur Center of Johnson County. We have four office space and a huge common space area. Thus far we have two desks and a good number of stackable chairs. Our next steps are to get a few more desks and start using the space on a regular basis.
