Thanks for starting the thread! I think there is much room for gatherings to happen on a variety of fronts, and starting at SXSWi is a great beginning. I've been dreaming about a coworking gathering of some sort for nearly a year now, and keep running into roadblocks for what it could look like. In the end, I think the greatest amount of success that I can see is to piggyback some regional coworking gatherings after getting the fire lit underneath us at SXSWi. I'd love to host one in Seattle to talk particularly about coworking in the Northwest, how we can sustainably grow the movement out here and stay true to the coworking ideals we've worked so hard on thus far.
