We keep that information available on a word of mouth/by requests basis, for
a couple of reasons.

One, "unavailable" doesn't communicate what you really want to, whereas in
person, you can be more expressive with how sorry you are that there isn't
room at a given level just yet.

Two, at the stage of business we're all in, there are ALWAYS exceptions to
the rule. Printing and publicizing availability puts people into a mindset
that there's a wall, whereas in person, you can make game-time decisions.

Also, consider this: publishing unavailability is likely to keep people from
coming in at all. Is that what you really want? Much better to have them
come in and meet you and your members, and be SO HOOKED just on that
experience that they're willing to wait until a spot opens up.

And lets be realistic, if they're going to be a huge contributor to the
community or a perfect fit, you can always find a way to make it work,
right?
