Just to be clear, the idea is that the original people who chipped in would get their money back. So it's like we're raising the money for this domain all over again, from scratch, but without the urgency.
So it's not like Alex is going to end up with another ~$10k here. The original money would go back wherefrom it came. Also, I'm drinking wine and I <3 you guys.
