We've had a TON of success with offering multiple months (up to 6) of
our basic membership at a discount. In fact, that's where a large
chunk of our initial capital came from.

Holiday deals, etc, also help take care of what would otherwise
potentially be a lull. Just remember: deals need to be sustainable,
too!!
