I <3 the new meetup everywhere. We've jumped on to Seth Godin's Linchpin day via this new platform http://www.meetup.com/Linchpins-are-everywhere-raise-the-flag/ . As for hopping on holidays, good idea but lots of people are vacationing or out of town etc during the actual holiday. I propose June 15th (selfishly) because we've already set up a free coworking day here on that date :)
