A couple of weeks ago, I sent my good friend and colleague Tony Bacigalupo
(whom many of you know as the co-founder of New Work City) a note with two
problems I wanted to address.

1) He and I had gotten busy and didn't talk often enough
2) There needed to be a place where we could dig into some of the meatier
discussions around coworking, instead of repeating the same "build the
community first, bootstrap, blah blah blah" stuff you've probably heard us
say before.

So I suggested we set a weekly date for a 30 minute phone call that we
record <http://thecoworkers.com>, talk about anything we want loosely
related to coworking, and post it.

It's not a "show". There's almost no pre-planning and there's absolutely no
post production. We use our cell phones and skype and the sound quality
isn't amazing. But it is a window into our weekly observations, experiences,
and conversations that we hope is interesting and valuable enough for others
to listen in on. It's really just us talking, so it could go anywhere.

We limit the call to 30 minutes so we stay focused and avoid getting rambly.
We might have "special guests" at some point, but in the mean time it's just
us. In the mean time there is only one pre-planned segment called "Exit
Interview" where in the last 5 minutes of the call, we volley each week and
one of us asks the other a question that they HAVE to answer on the call.
Nothing like a little pressure to make things interesting.

Fair warning: discussions on this google group are fair game for prompts
during our call. If you ask a question, we might talk about it on our call.

You can even subscribe to it to your iTunes, all podcast like, by using our
Feedburner URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheCoworkers

You can check out the topics covered in our first two recordings in the
episode notes, or just give it a listen. It's 30 minutes. If you don't like
it you get a full refund.
