Hello Space Owners: One of the things I love the most about Facebook is when you see a post from someone you know who wants to one day open a space of their own but their post shares an idea that scares the hell out of you but you should be doing it! I now this sounds strange, but last weekend a friend posted a story about a site called IndieGoGo.com, and stories of crowd funding. What scared me about the idea is that you put yourself out there for the world to comment and criticize your project which directly effects how much you raise which then effects your "online" reputation. However, i quickly realized that coworking is not about me, but about the community and my fear was causing me to question myself... Am I doing enough??
Well, here it is: http://www.indiegogo.com/EcoHub-Is-Expanding Please take a second out of your day to visit my page and leave a comment about what you think. The upside is that MTV New Media has enlisted IndieGoGo to help discover, develop and distribution the best new projects and talent on the web. On an ongoing basis, IndieGoGo will select projects for MTV New Media to review. MTV New Media is looking for digital platform content for their MTV, VH1, CMT and LOGO brands. If MTV is interested, IndieGoGo will connect MTV New Media and the projects. All IndieGoGo projects are eligible for selection. The greater the audience demand, the greater the consideration for selection. http://www.indiegogo.com/about/partners Could you image? Coworking on MTV!! Just because we take a risk to wreck our "online" reputations:/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
