In terms of stealing ideas, I have three schools of thought: 1) Nobody will ever execute my idea the way I would (better or worse) so even if they do steal it, I can do it better, my way. 2) In a place like a coworking space, which is a somewhat self-selecting audience to begin with, EVERYBODY has an idea to steal. How do you choose which one? Invariably, if you're an idea thief, you lack the ability to discern one idea from the next and end up choosing none. 3) Ideas are worth nothing anyway. Execution is the key. That's the core tenant behind our newest member-driven initiative, http://shipitsociety.com. Come in and value your idea at zero. Contribute to making it a reality together and BOOM. We all win.
