Hello, my name is Tim and I am a remote worker. I have been working
from home more or less since 2003, working for home as an employee of
large and small companies and as an independent consultant. I am
working out of my home office for a company in the midwest for the
last 6 years with a couple year break in between, I am more or less a
project manager in the IT/Networking field.

My children are starting to get to that age where they can't help
being noisy and the cacophony tends to get overwhelming while I am on
countless conference calls and trying to get things done. Recently, I
have been roaming around sucking up bandwidth on a daily basis at fine
establishments such as Starbucks, Just Fresh, and Mc Alisters among
others and it's often almost as noisy. In my research I have found
some potential options such as Regus (a bit too corporate), Jelly
(more social than I am looking for) and CoWorking as potential
opportunities to continue my lifestyle as a remote employee, but not
lose any more sanity from the noise that is childhood.

CoWorking, really interests me and I have been looking at a few
CoWorking locations already established here in Charlotte.
Unfortunately, they are all on the wrong side of town; the desire to
work somewhere outside the home sans children is great but my desire
to commute across town is not.

I am looking to network with like minded individuals who are
interested in CoWorking on the South West side of Charlotte - Ayrsley,
Whitehall, Rivergate, or similar areas. Perhaps someone else is
already looking at these areas? I could become a Catalyst for a new
CoWorking venue or just a user, it really depends on what is out
there.
