I've adopted a lot of ideas from you all -- thanks. and was hoping for a brief brainstorm. Some of the elected people I respect are coming by to help us announce we're open, but the "cut a ribbon" idea, while tried and true, doesn't seem to convey the ideas of community, sustainability, collaboration, and openness. Any alternative ideas out there for what to do to mark the opening of a new coworking space? cut a red tape? open champagne?
