Devin,

I'll let Meg know this thread exists so she can speak for herself.

But I can tell you from my perspective that we're kind of feeling our
way through this new position. As a first step, Meg is talking with
members to find out about their info and knowledge needs. But people
often are not reliable at self-reporting, so I suspect she will glean
more insights from the kinds of research requests members bring to her
over time. Not surprisingly, many entrepreneurs will tell you they
have no need for business research (is it because they trust Google or
their own instincts?), so simply getting these startup founders to
talk about their research needs will be an accomplishment!

Bigger picture, Meg and I will be talking about how to develop a
programming philosophy and approach. We're filtering through lots of
ideas for activities (events, meetups, conferences, programs,
lectures, etc.) to see which ones seem to have the greatest potential
and might be worth piloting over the next couple months.

Cheers,
Don
