Hey guys, I know it's early to think about this but a member asked today about the closing between Christmas and the flipping of the calendar to apocalypse 2012. How does your coworking spaces do this?
I'm looking to head back to my home state for the holiday but don't have a key code locking system that allows for 24/7 access. I normally open and than the last member leaving closes up. Here are my options for the holidays that I have thought of: 1. Give keys out to all of the 3 days/week or higher members to use the space. 2. Close up for the week. - Give a discount for the month because of the closing - Keep the regular rate because it's pretty normal to close for the holiday 3. Close just Monday the 26th and the 30th and be open. - Cut my vacation short and come back. - Ask a member that knows they will be working there to open and close the space. Pay them accordingly. I am leaning in certain directions but I would to know how other people handle it. I will also talk it out with the members to see if many of them plan on working and what they are comfortable with.
