Thanks!  We based the program on the Indie Coffee
Passport<http://indiecoffeepassport.com/>,
which is in its second (or third, maybe?) successful incarnation. We even
approached them and asked them to run the program for us, but they declined
since the ICP isn't even their full time focus. They have a complicated
redemption process wherein the cafes get a portion of sales plus a portion
of each coffee redemption, but since we were doing it ourselves we thought
we'd pare it down and keep it simple. All funds go to marketing and other
fun stuff and each participating space gets the value of showing their
space and community to the new faces that come in as a result of it.
