Workantile in Ann Arbor has no permanent desking. One of the nice things about this arrangement is that the space is completely flexible because we can move desks and chairs whenever and wherever we want. We can quickly reconfigure the space for social events, and reconfigure it for video screenings, then reconfigure it again for working, or whatever.
We have three price plans: full, affiliate, and student. Full members ($160/month) get unlimited access to the space, affiliate ($25/month) get 1 free day pass, and can buy day passes at $10/day, students ($35/month) get unlimited access to the space. When we first opened, we were pretty tech-heavy, but we now have a nice mix of developers, authors, journalists, an architect, a couple of lawyers, project and operations managers, and others.
