Hey guys,

Berlin's old airport, Tegel (TXL), shall be converted into a technology hub
once the new one in Schönefeld (BER) will be opened for traffic - details
here: http://www.berlintxl.de/berlin-txl/?lang=en. One entire TXL terminal
is due to be converted into a co-working space for founders and small and
growing teams. Now: Since the new Tegel shall be about "urban technologies"
like e-mobility, new public transport concepts, sustainable energy and the
like, much work there will be not only about "digital", but about tangible
objects - vehicles, energy storage, smart metering...

That's why the requirements for the co-working space should differ from
those of an "internet-only" space. - Or should they? I'd love to hear your
insight about this. In which way does a co-working space for founders,
startups, and self-employees who work on partly non-digital stuff need to
differ from "regular" ones? Is co-working common among engineering-driven
teams and individuals? Would you know examples for spaces in that area?

Thank you very much
c.
