Hi there, We're also starting the first coworking space in Saudi Arabia, yes the first in Riyadh. So, we're also taking the responsibility of raising the awareness in the startups and entrepreneurs community in the region.. I'm sure you know that the community's traditional idea of work is in that closed private office, with pieces of luxury whenever they could afford it...! Anyway, this idea is fading these days as younger people started thinking of the priorities to achieve, progress and build.. That's when we came in.. So, as we are going to start very soon, we started pitching about coworking and its benefits -before pitching about our space- just to raise the awareness in every Tech, startup, Devcamp and other related events.. Guess what! It's working and we started receiving inquiries of what's our space and where is it before we actually open doors!! We also received inquiries if we can help or participate in building something similar in other cities in Saudi, like Jeddah and Dhahran!
So, try pitching or make short presentations about "coworking" as a great idea in your community.. You could always show examples from other communities or countries as well.. Show how cool in styles and how beneficial it is, and you'll notice how more people would be interested. Note, if you just advertise for your space, people will take you as a salesperson with a product.
