Hi there Mychael. Following on from the previous answer, we did the lease/recon thing too- and just a quick heads up/warning. While the machine we've got is pretty awesome (it does stuff like high speed scanning to evernote, which everyone loves), we've also struggled with Mac compatibility and the supplying printer company can't do much about it until the manufacturer sorts it. Turns out 90 of our 100 members use a Mac (who's have thought it, in a creative workspace, d'oh!) and I seem to spend my life trying to find workarounds.
One other thing (about printing in general, I appreciate you're an established business so this probably won't apply to you personally, just a general tip)- we thought for charging for printing we needed to decide between lo-tech (having the printer behind reception and taking cash), higher tech but more time sapping for my team (having user accounts on the machine and recharging once a month onto members' bills), or high-tech (billing to account at point of use). Turns out the amount we spend on printing, even with a busy place like ours, is pretty minimal, so right now we're think about just offering it free as part of a membership. £100/month lost in printing revenue, and the same amount saved on my staff time when they could be somewhere else doing something awesome with the community rather than crunching rebill numbers.....
