I have had 4 "Lunch & Learns" so far....NO, I do not pay the speakers.

I also pay for the Lunch and the Seminar is free.  I try to get "sponsors"
for lunch, but, Pizza Pizza is cheap when I have to pay.  :-)

The speakers have an opportunity to get more business...
