We lease a high end copier/printer, which does A4/A3, full duplex etc, and we charge for each use use. In terms of profitability it just about breaks even. In terms of being part of the offer we find it essential. One of the things we have noticed is that our members really miss some (not many!) of the things they had when in a traditional office environment- and one of those is access to a high end printer. Best feature for me is the high speed scan to email. I can put 100 documents in the feeder, choose my email to evernote dropbox address, then scan and shred.
The only issue we have is that we're 90% mac, and while the printer supports macs, the mac people tend to upgrade their machines the day a new mac OS comes out, while the printer manufacturer takes a month or two to release a new driver. That causes issues. On Wednesday, 18 November 2015 02:05:24 UTC, Ehmandah R. wrote: > > My friend and I are opening a coworking space.
