Whenever I try to do something on CPAN and it tries to download a file it seems to take ages. I have found out this is because it fails when trying to get the file with LWP and Net::FTP, it takes about 5 minutes to show an error message then move to the next one. In the end it downloads it with lynx.
Error messages LWP: LWP failed with code[400] message [FTP return code 000] Net::FTP: Couldn't fetch 02packages.details.txt.gz from ftp.perl.org Has anyone else had this or know how to fix it, as I am guessing it isn't normal? Thanks, Luca Spiller
