As DBD::ODBC does.
That's understandable, as it's only very recently that their authors
will have even started to be notified of this sort of failure.
Thankyou very much for taking the time to try to fix this - it will be
good to be able to point other DBD::* authors at DBD::ODBC as an
example.
Thanks for the responses. I have already passed on the relevant
information to DBI developers on the dbi-dev mailing list
(http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.dbi.dev/2007/11/msg5180.html) and
changed DBI::DBD pod in subversion which will be included in the next
DBI when it is released (although now I check this commit has not got
through yet and is on my home PC so I will recommit this evening).
