Sure ... A Mac can (and is,) used for testing CGIs, kiosk and other light
duty situations. There's some issue regarding push/pull that makes it
unsuitable for multiple hit situations - latest issue of PerlMonth has an
article. But it is done to test on a Mac, then mirror/ftp the CGI to the
main server for production use.
