Probably because 5.6.0 has been out so long, and people don't test
their stuff with older releases. I still have a few machines at
a client site that run 5.005_03. I should upgrade, but there
are so many things more urgent...

I consider testing with 5.005_03 good work because there are lots of
people who have 5.005_03. Solaris 8 includes it. And because AFAIK
it has more incompatibilities with 5.6.1 than 5.6.0 has, it's harder
to get people to upgrade. So I consider 5.6.0 less important. Not
unimportant.
