Understand fully, believe me! (While this is our "main site", I'm also a
graduate student, and not one in computer science, so my time is quite
limited...) The memory leak problems with 5.005 finally got to be rather too
much. Unfortunately, I wound up doing the 5.005->5.6.0 transition not long
before the release of 5.6.1...

It's also in IRIX 6.5 (they were finally pushed into replacing Perl 4, much
