Google has introduced a new XML based description format to wirte sitemaps that helps search engines to index web sites:

What about writing a "sitemap.gz" view for portal objects so that google and other web crawlers could better index CPS based web sites?

I don't really know why they chose to design yet a new metadata XML format instead of using RDF though ...

BTW: here the XML Schema definition:

Even before a sitemap for Google, I think a generic solution to do a sitemap (for real users) would be very helpful.
