hi,
I suspect, that I either can use types-definition in xml in the
profiles/types or in the by me much prefered way in python like in
getCustomDocumentSchemas.py.
The old-style python definition is deprecated though kept for backward
compatibility.
I find xml-files highly unreadable and hard to edit.
They are not that a hard to read/edit compared to the python equivalents.
Will it be possible
to use the old-style forever, I see that CPSDocument is still working
this way, and how would I use that with CMFSetup ?
I recommend you to try and use GenericSetup.
Or the other way around, how do I develop a product for CPS-3.4 ?
Have a look at the portal_setup tool and at how extension products such as
CPSWiki, CPSOOo, CPSSubscriptions work for instance.
I'm currently working on the sample CPS 3.4 product in order to make it work in
CPS 3.4 style:

Any feedback welcome though this is not finished.
