I'm not sure a lot of people would go with PGStorage (we don't, actually, but your feedback on this is very welcome). Other than that, such a document would be, I think, very useful for a lot of people.
When I have more of a system put together, I'll have to do some benchmarks regarding I/O and CPU utilization for both PGStorage and ZODB; my intent was to be able to increase throughput by splitting duties between two servers, instead of having Zope act as both a HTTP and a DB server.
Also, I think that APE would probably be more suited to this task, as it can map fields in the ZODB object <-> Postgres, but I had problems getting Ape to work with Zope 2.9.2, so for the time being I'm using PGStorage.
