Mostly, I added note about the GCC version you must use in order to get

Use gcc 3.4.4, 3.4.5 or 3.4.6 and compile PyLucene-1.9.1 against it. I
advice the use of 3.4.6 for production since the GCC 3.4.4 seem to
produce randomly some weired errors (harmless though)
Note that this goes for gcj as well. On Ubuntu Dapper, there are
packages for gcc-3.4.6, but not for gcj-3.4.6, and using later gcj-4.0.1
will compile but not run.
So on Ubuntu you neeed to download and compile gcc+gcj 3.4.6.
