Let me try to re-phrase the question (and put words into the original poster's mouth) -- Maybe s/he wants to be able to mirror a directory on her/his hard disk in the CPS portal. Perhaps we should be asking for a way to take all the text files in a given directory, create a Document object for each one in a CPS folder containing the text content from the text file and with format Structured Text (better yet ReStructured Text). Of course, if we had that (the ability to create Documents that mirror, for example, text files on our file system), then, next, we would want the ability to update Documents from the content of (e.g.) text files on the file system. And, after that, we'd want the ability to mirror nested sub-directories, ... and then you're on the slippery slope to ... a CPSDirectoryMirror object type. OK. I apologize. I got a little carried away there.
