Well, for some reason, it was happening.

Let's say that we are quite interested to know if this is related to
your specific setup or if generic cps fires huge queries to LDAP
backings at login time, as this can be a serious hit on performance.

It won't be necessary, I believe. This is a consequence of configuration conflicts between CPSMailAccess and CPSLDAPSetup. You can test this theory simply by removing CPSMailAccess from your products.

Herrm actually, no, the action portlet that triggers this search wiill not be happpy about this... You can try on a fresh new instance, though.

Once this is fixed, CPSMailAccess and CPSLDAPSetup should be compatible.
