Bruno,

I'm going to reply to this but I'm not interested about producing a huge
thread here. I'm going to apologize for my reaction yesterday but I
would like to make you understand the reasons for it.

Just to be clear (because it seems that not everybody got what you wrote
last time

If I'm translating in French :

"""
Et bien CPS était déjà assez proche d'un logiciel de base Java en terme
d'agilité et de complexité donc ça semble logic (i.e : java migration)
"""

For someone who's been taking time to reply to your mails on the list
this year, in my free time, what do you want me to think about that
seriously ?

I could find lots of similar comments in the archives but at the same
time you have been helping people out so let's say I'm wrong here.

That's where we disagree. I wouldn't call that "obvious facts" right ?
What your did was just "bitching". Your mail was useless.

What it says :

 - CPS was unagile and complex.
 - So are basic Java applications

=> double shoot !

Criticizing is helpful in two ways :

 - pointing out problems so that from it we can fix it by checking the
origin of the problem.

 - pointing out problems *and* giving solutions.

Bitching is annoying for people that are working really hard on a
project. Nuxeo is a small company where each individual invest himself
big time. They last thing they need when taking some of their free time
to answer the community lists is some comments bitching about CPS.

Plus, to be perfectly clear. If you had say that you found Nuxeo
decision stupid because you didn't like Java I would never have reply
because that would have been your thoughts.

You can contact me offline if you want to continue thie discussion.

Bien cordialemment,

        J.
