True, if one is trying to duplicate physical CD's. Meanwhile, to have the
audio captured to a mp3 file, you only lose a little quality the _original
time_ it was captured. From there on out the digital copy of the analog
sound is distributed. This is how it differs from the copying from CD ->
tape. Think of the recorded mp3 as the original tape copy, which isn't
lacking much quality than the CD. Then, everyone simply copies this
original tape.
