Ken, I love your style! I'm accused of being 'willing to openly
cannabalize' the American worker's existing wages, put them into a
baloney sandwich, and then have the capitalists eat it for lunch! A
pretty serious charge, and one that I am at a loss to defend myself
from.
You admonish me pedantically with the following supposedly self evident
truism-

charity ought first to be the well-being of the US laboring population.>
Well now, is that really so? .....'Go Team, Go!' Or even more to
the point..... 'Go Home Team, Go.' 'The object of our charity'?
An unusual way for a 'socialist' to phrase what their political work is
about!
