Hallyx, I changed the subject header, because I want you to be clear on
the point. And that is just simply that there is no virtue in
selfishness, Ayn Rand not withstanding.

You gratuitously blow my way this insult...
<"Is there anything else you know absolutely nothing about?" --- Groucho
Marx>

I am willing to bet, that despite your anthro readings of Hardin and
Wilson, that you never spent much time in the Child Development section
of the library.

Let me briefly share with you the findings. Mothers that constantly
tell their toddlers to share their toys with other children, get no
response..... immediately...... But lo' 'n behold, eventually the
kids do start to share. They develop beyond selfishness, and begin
to see a community of interest.

Now you may call this 'nothing more than selfishness once removed', but
others see it as something called cooperation. And I am here not
just due to Great granddad's selfishness, Hoss, but rather in spite of
it, I imagine.

Please, stop concentrating on lecturing us socialist nit-wits who are
out trying to 'fool Mother Nature' (again, as you put it) and go get
yourself a Child Development textbook, and STUDY. Your Mom tried to
trick mother nature with you. And the results were varied. But
she made the effort, and it can be done, even successfully.

Best wishes, Tony
