Well, in fact nobody entrusted the Martnez de Hoz gang to contract
the debt. He came to power through a coup in 1976, the (in)famous
Junta coup which brought us back to barbarism. Moreover, the
interests of the group represented by Martnez de Hoz ran against
those of our country, which carried them to wage a protracted kind of
cold civil war against their own country since 1945. We all knew
that, this is why the horror that was unleashed over us was simply
put a sound measure of economic policy.

And, yes, anything taught in the School of the Americas was put to
"good" use.

The distressing thing, however, is that the self=appointed
"democrats" have not had the courage to break with the results of the
policies of Martnez de Hoz. On the contrary, they took them to their
last consequences. In this sense, yes, you are right, after 1983
Argentina has been victimized by those entrusted to protect our
interests. But, in a sense, this was an unescapable result of our
defeat in the South Atlantic in 1982. This would take us too far
away, however, so that I will stop here.
