This is not exactly true. We should be more careful to check the facts.
Powell is inded a self-serving bureaucrat, willing to walk over bodies, who
was a central persona in the Iran-gate scandal, and other mis-adventures.
He did not, however, arrive to serve the Americal Division in Vietnam until
months after MyLai, and he covered for individuals who helped promote his
career.

We DO need to understand the Powell Doctrine for the US military, and
understand that Bush and Cheney are oil men. This has great relevance for
