Don't you think that depletion of non-renweable resources create a distinct barrier 
to accumulation? I'm not trying to mascarade the mass of petrodollars as unrelated 
to overaccumulation but you're going too far IMO.

BTW, what do junk bonds crises have to do with deregulation? Did regulations 
change as to what kind of institution may own them?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by monetarists, austrians, libertarians, and 
neoliberals providing needed ideas to captialism after 1973. What was the need 
created by the oil shock and how did they fulfill it? As to you venture into 
intellectual 
history about those currents beign created by non-intellectual processes, I of 
course agree but don't see where you're going.
