But at this point, ginger, I think you should relish the feeling that "no one is like me" (to paraphrase). We live in a world of imitations, artificiality, and the bourgeoisie (plus the bourgeoisie wannabes).

Like this countercurrent about the involvement of women at LGM, I think you will find that people at LGM will let you and others be what you want to be.
