OpenRaster is patterned after OpenDocument, without actually being OpenDocument. Perhaps its meta.xml might be a better model? It'd be nice to have somewhere to dump Dublin Core metadata as well. http://books.evc-cit.info/odbook/ch02.html#meta-xml-section I'm envisaging at least our own meta:generator and meta:standards-version, in addition to the dc: ones. RDF/XML might be an even better model for bags of metadata, at the risk of making parsing and writing overcomplex.
