Interesting. But anyway I think you are not looking for the same kind of support as I do. You want to import ora as single raster images (textures). I want to have layer support. Like when you import PSD files into after-effects, you have 1 layer per video channel, and you can align them in order to make an animation. But then you still have some manual work to do in After Effects (more or less simplified, provided you have a simple case where you want all layers one after another in order), I would love something even more automatic, which is why I was also looking for a support of animation logics into ora itself. So that when I import the ora in the Blender VSE, layers are automatically well set. Anyway I personally have let this work aside for now, because I have to choose priorities. And I am trying a simpler setup (= one with less development) where I export png from GIMP. But ultimately, this would be the awesome path for me, because that's a path where the artists can leave the rendering process at the last second, and always work directly on the source. Give us news if you make your ora support for texture. :-) Will be nice to know.
